Wellness Programs & Teaching
Simple tricks and a bit of confidence can turn into new habits that get you hooked on fresh produce and the joy of cooking it. If your workplace has a Wellness Program and is interested in cooking classes, demonstrations or presentations there is more information here or get in touch.
Would you like a fun, educational team building activity for your team? Cooking and eating together and learning new skills and habits can be an inspiring part of annual planning retreats or as a thank-you to hard-working staff.
Many of my wellness program clients complement Cook With What You Have’s face-to-face programs with subscriptions for their employees to the online Seasonal Recipe Collection. This resource enables users to cook more, eat well and spend less.
Community Partners
I work with a wide variety of organizations, teaching customized classes, developing recipes and curricula and doing presentations around simple everyday meals. Partners and clients include POIC, Head Start, Portland Farmers Market, Oregon Food Bank, and Growing Gardens.
Private Classes
I teach private classes, either in your home or mine. If you have a group of friends/family/colleagues who would like to do a class together (with a special menu or one of my choosing) we can schedule something to fit your needs.
Consultations
Overwhelmed at the end of the day by what to make for dinner or how much restaurant meals or prepared foods are costing you? I offer customized meal planning that helps you cook at home regularly with plenty of food for lunches or the freezer, reduces your food budget, and gets more fresh vegetables on your plate. Need help stocking your pantry/kitchen? I can help you get set up and systematize your restocking, list-making, and sourcing/shopping.
